Easter Iceland

We were looking around for pictures to post, but we haven't really taken any this week. Instead we'll give you a glimpse of our trip to Iceland at Easter. The first one is of the landscape, or seascape rather, by the coast of Iceland. It was taken just before we landed in Keflavík. The second one is of Søren trying eat a "eina med øllu" hotdog in strong headwind at the "Bæjarins Bestu" hotdog stand. The last picture is of Steinunn, who encountered a polar bear... in a fish store of all places.

Kickstart

Hello,
If you don't know already, our names are Søren and Steinunn and we live in Roskilde, Denmark.
Steinunn (the girl in the picture on the right) is born and raised in Iceland but moved to Denmark four years ago to study at Roskilde University. Søren (in the picture below) is a native Dane.
We are pretty normal people, living in a small apartment and trying to juggle school, work and everything that goes with it. Søren knows he wants to be a journalist when he grows up, but Steinunn is still pondering her career opportunities. She just wants to help people without having to cut them open and take a 12-year-education.
We share our home with Panda the cat. We decided to start this blog to share our photographs and so that our families and friends can keep track of us. Comments to the photographs are most welcome :)
